#iPug Routing problems

Hello everyone,

Recently the routing has gone askew and I left it alone because I thought that it would sort itself out. It didn't so I got in contact with NFO. They told me to have people run an MTR. It is explained in this topic here: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =25&t=4272

If we can identify a problem, it might help get the problem solved faster but then again if it's affecting NL/GER/PT/UK and more, I'm guessing something might be borked in the grand scheme of the internets.

I ping fine now without PL, but the past few days was bad for the euro's including me. Next time the routing flips out again I'll post a traceroute.

I tried WinMTR but it's not doing anything for me. No results, timeouts or errors...

not working for any of the ips in #ipug

edit: i lied. it's working on ip5, but my ping is 50ish lower there compared to the other servers..and the only hop giving a response is the actual server, so I doubt the data will be of any use

At 8:10pm I lagged out of ip2. Server looked dead in the server browser for like 30 seconds. When I finally connected my ping was 120 (20 before I dropped).

My ping was also high again, and dropped after around 00:00. Happened like that for 4/5 nights now so i guess its a capacity issue. My traceroute now:

Something changed today... now having PL and high ping... before it was 130-135 without PL... now its 222-230 with PL -.-... route was changed today.... i remember that i played last pug at 7am without problem, now its happening this -.-

Image

It isnot the ISP... my ISP is VTR in Chile, CrzyFox has Movistar and Spriggan has Manquehue and they have the same problem... so i think that is the route to Chile or maybe to SA ppl

The same thing is happening on the pub servers, up to 30% pl. I have seen lots of dutch players complaining about it as well.

ping's are fine early in the morning, from 8 / 12 its the normal 100 / 110.
After 12 it's all back to 200 with a steady 10 / 20% pl.
