The Number 1 spectator sport is Nascar.
The Nascar Circut draws more in attendance than any other competitive sport. American football is second, followed closely (due to the length of the season) is baseball.

Football is easily #1, Basketball and Baseball are #'s 3 and 3A (there is no #2).

Soccer is long distance running with a ball. It requires no muscle mass or explosiveness, just good cardio. If Lebron started training for soccer seriously he'd be a top player within a couple years.
