Ping to ip5

Postby RickJames » Sun Feb 16, 2014 8:00 pm

Hey guys,

For some reason I have consistent 130+ ping to ip5. I believe I've had ping issues on ip6 in the past, too. I used to ping 30 to this server, and I should ping 35 at most (usually closer to 20) to any nyc server. It's definitely nothing on my end (as far as torrenting, other people using net, etc).

I've played on the uk ig server with 130 ping and it felt only a little harder to hit than playing on us ig with 30. However, playing pugs on ip5 with 135 felt very difficult, and I'd have to aim in weird places to get hits sometimes.

Any ideas? Other people having issues with this serv?

Tracert result (looks like that one hop may be the culprit- perhaps contacting the responsible NOC could help?):

I ping quite bad to ip5, but not to any of the other servers.. when playing, my ping usually jumps from an average 110 1-2%PL to about 130-150 with 5% PL, jsut on ip5 though..

ip5 now is a different ip and different provider than when this thread was made, ip5 now is exactly the same as ip1-4 (and 6)
