I will admit, I find it hilarious how often we receive complaints about lamers and how often comments are made about admins never doing anything about it. But when an admin actually does something about it, we get threads like this. And you wonder why admins are dropping like flies and why the ones that remain dread dealing with the inevitable backlash that comes with handing out a ban.
DYA knew full well that making this thread would lead to a shit show, which will almost certainly serve as a deterrent to other admins banning lamers, and in which case, the lamers have won. Perpetuate this thread and DYA wins.
I honestly barely know DYA and have no opinion of him beyond what I've seen others say. Like he said, he doesn't even know who I am, so we obviously haven't interacted enough for me to have an opinion on him. And if you look at my bans since the beginning of this year, you'd see that they are all unbiased and that they serve to improve the quality of the channel. I understand many of you within this thread don't like me so you'll of course side with DYA and try to dissect my every flaw, and I am human so I make mistakes, but banning DYA isn't one of them. I made a judgement call to improve the channel based on the feedback I had received from a number of players.
There's really nothing else to say as I've been as civil and transparent as I can possibly be on the matter, so please stop baiting me into replying to this thread.
In conclusion, to DYA and everyone else (myself included): When you play a pug, if you minimize the types of behavior that could be considered laming, there should be no reason for anyone to complain and request a ban. Playing this old game will be much more enjoyable for everyone.
