Well mp^5 i was a huge main factor in my team during duku since i made the return during a standoff getting a mega kill
but yeah DY played like a dick

I understand you wanting to backup your teammates from last season, MP5, but the ban was a combination of what I saw on duku plus the request prior to the map plus the other complaints from other players. I actually wasn't planning on banning DYA until multiple people began requesting it. DYA was consistently playing 3rd D without his flag even being taken, probably adding up to at least 2 minutes of defending or 10% of the map. And again, can you imagine how much defense he would have played if he gained the lead?

He was called back to defend couple of times due to bad calls from us on D aswell ^^ We called we needed help and he happend to be there!

Correct me if I'm wrong but shooting players, whether or not it's in the back, that are in your base is completely acceptable. Running out of an uncleared base shows questionable ctf iq. Also, I'm assuming English isn't dya's 1st language so correcting his spelling is retarted.

its not just a support for a former teammate, its to protest against unjustified bans by admins.
i was in a similar situation like this a few weeks ago only replace solidsnake with riven and add another lame german guy (riven's friend) to the business.
nuke was dming mid while those 2 were taking every chance to lame me but after the pug they went to the admins channel and asked for my ban.
vitrae as useful as always took their word and banned me.
now you are not as bad as vitz timtim but you do make your bans considering who you like/dislike and i am one to speak up against it.
nothing against you and i do think you do a great job to support this community, your admin decisions sometimes lacking imo thats all.

Just to point out a few facts:

Backshooting is appropriate when...
your flag is taken
your defense calls for help
your flag carrier is near you or coming in your direction
there is a flag standoff
you reflex shoot them (hard to determine, but sometimes it just happens, especially for those of us with higher sens)
when an enemy is doing the same thing (getting shot in the back repeatedly won't help you advance, but if you shoot them before they shoot you, you get to advance further)

Falling back is appropriate when...
your defense calls for help
when there is a flag standoff
your flag is taken (if defense is calling where they are going, usually means they need help so it mixes in with the previous)

Watching a demo or even spectating doesn't tell the whole story. You need to be in TS as well. That said, you can still make pretty accurate assessments from specing and taking into account the opposing teams views, though it won't always be accurate and it doesn't mean they weren't doing the same exact thing.

If he was banned for Duku, then I don't think it was a very good ban based on the demo.

Agreed with PACO + vitz. Biased ban on DYA based on the demo.
