How about a timezone based nomic rule, no nomiccing before 10pm wherever theyre from or something like that.

or have a seperate nomic pug for nomiccers.

Limit to 2 nomics per pug. IS THAT SO DIFFICULT?

Should'nt be allowing it in the first place without good reason and anyone saying they havent got a mic should walk out of the door to their nearest supermarket, they sell them for like $2 these days

I cant comprehend why grown mans are crying about nomics or mics. When i play UT i don't give a flying fuck if my team has a mic or not, i love the game and i play regardless if my team has a mic or not. These kids need to realize its just a game and you should mind your own business. Most of the time I'm playing I'm not even listening to what my team is saying at all, I'm listening to music when i play. So either you are a bunch of babies or your taking this game as it is your life. just relax and enjoy, don't create problems on an already dying old game. I can understand why some people cant use mics, for example creek, we grew up in different households and upbringings and its not the same thing as you other folks, so just learn to respect it and move on. The rules state mic is not recommended to play. Us nomics don't always use mics but we are the ones that get the pugs filled and are always there to fill pugs and are committed to the community always pugging without causing dramas. Grow the fuck up. Im tired of seeing this same thread over and over. I'm not nomiccing on purpose and I've stated why i cant specifically use a mic. So get over it and stop including my name in it.

PS. There is some players on here that complain about nomics, such as sponge. mean while these guys cant speak English, and don't use their mic, same with turok, nomer and hell of a lot of others. So they are what i call hypocrites. Good folks but hypocrites. When i used my mic i spoke 99% of the time, and tim tim and others who heard me can probably vouch for me. I didn't say 1 word every 2 minutes like a retard.

Wrong again friend, I have binds now and I use them. And why would i disrespect my parents or cause trouble, house is going to me, i don't want to get on their bad side ever, and where I'm from i respect my parents. And that is worth more than any game will be ever. You think you are grown up cause you can talk on a mic. Think again friend.

There's nothing you can do. You can add a rule that says you need to have a mic to play but that's not very nice. Two nomics per pug? Good luck enforcing that. There are plenty of people with mics that are just as bad as not having one.

I'm sure the conversation will go something like this:
Hermione: Hey can I use a microphone when I'm playing games on the computer? These are people I play games with everyday.
Mom: THAT'S IT! YOU LOSE THE HOUSE!

I was just using nomer and them as an example, some miccers are just as useless as a nomic. And yes you can say obvious left or right positions, anyone can also do that with basic binds. IMO GU tournaments are the one that nomics should not be allowed to play in cause that is competitive. Pugs are also competitive but not such high caliber as a tournament. The admins made the best decision they could when they say no mic is allowed to pug, or do you think they are retarded?

I dont see anyone skilled in these pugs imo except a small few that i look up to, jyb, shots, hatchet, fallacy and serenity, good and humble players. And half the players here are almost as bad or worse than me. So this has nothing to do with a skilled environment, its just pugs are different from pubs, in pugs its organized and very strict rules are kept in place, which is why it keeps running, things are pretty fair pugging. Pubs are just a mess full with noobs and lamers, possibly cheaters as well. Also im probably not the only one who listens to music while pugging, anything but rare.

Just a create a nomic-free gametype. If you can't shell out $10 for a game that is completely free (except for server admins of course, they basically fund your entire experience) then stick to publics where you the caliber of skill is much lower. That is where you have classified yourself, you earned it. Late night pugs would still fill with the nomics but there is no reason I should be dealing with them when so many pugs are happening during the day with people that will actually mic up and talk. As for the people don't aren't allowed to talk on the internet because of mommy and daddy, sucks to be you nerd.

That's actually the easiest solution by far. Create a gametype where nomics are not allowed. If there aren't enough to fill it, the normal ictf will fill. If the nomics want to mic up and play with the mic'ed pug they will. This would take like, what, five minutes to implement?
