It was very fun and also has a lot of room for improvement. I believe tim has finished making telegib newnet compatible and with fast weapon switch. This will improve the game play a lot. Mics/Comms are incredibly important in telegib. I will make a post sometime this week introducing telegib to the community.

In my opinion, the first trial run of the telegib mod to me was successful. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to grab the flag in various ways, telepunting the trans, attempting to piston run, and just the new map of it all, for IG.

What I did not enjoy was fallback 4D on Azcanize (much like what happens in actual weapons), only because it's so much easier to nail a FC with an IG rifle. However, like IR said, collaborating with teammates via mic/ts/binds is extremely important to combat this tactic. Unfortunately, during this particular pug, we lacked that aspect of teamwork.

We did successfully boost our FC via a Piston Boot Jump Boost via 2 teammates. That was exciting on Diamondsword, being able to collaborate (yes even with no mics) and perform those flawlessly.

The potential of this mod can only go up from here. This could bridge the gap and grow the community just a bit more.

screenshots for those who are curious. ds was great. azca was really fast paced, and people will need to practice to get better at it.
