As most people know the maplist gets a little stale at times so as promised the first 3 of many maps we've been busy editing and seeking out for your pugging pleasure 8)

#1 CTF-Revenge

Most people know Revenge from either weapons or from trying it out in ig but it always lacked an extra entrance to nullify the choke point coming into base so we've tried to do just that.

**Changes made**

- Added a corridor from rockets to flak (sorry about weaps terminology) but you can see from screenshots #1 and #2 8)
- Added a window in base to see near boxes this should help defence and offence
- Ramp from flag down to pulse
- Increased the size of the sniper window so you can jump through it
- Altered the "supports" for the pipe so you can dodge/boost over them
- Added a few boxes low in base so u can jump up from low
- Sped up the lift behind the flag
- Altered the spawns

Somar did a few edits to the map a while ago but didnt get around to finishing it up so we took his version and tried to improve from that 8)


#2 CTF-PryXon-v6 (latest version)

Most people wont know this map so its pointless listing the changes we've made ;)
But this map looks a pretty fast paced hard to defend type map .. lots of ways in and out of base.
The textures aren't the best but its just a map we found with a pretty cool layout we just altered a few walls removed a few added bouncepad behind flag remoed a couple doors and removed a few bugs.
there was a couple pugs on it yesterday im curious to hear peoples opinions as ive yet to play this one ;)

#3 CTF-Azcanize-v2

Another weapons map we've tried to edit up a little, i think this ones been tried before in ig but hopefully we've made a few edits to make mid a little less conjested and to be quicker in/out of base.

**Changes made**

- Added a route from sniper into mid on the right side of base
- Increased the size of the platform where belt was so you can jump to it from the sides
- opened up the window where pulse was
- changed the lift in base for a bounce pad + added another one to the side /front of flag *lol*
- Splayed the edge of the floor close to shock next to pulse window so u can dodge side to side
- Box in base for some cover for defence and offence
- Removed the grating in the ceiling + blocked it off above the lift to enable some cool boosting from the mid lifts
- Altered the spawns.

Well those are the first 3 maps we're putting up on the pugging maplist, Please give them a couple of tries before you comment too much or bash anyone whos put in some work on trying to help you..
comments like "this sucks fucking blabla" please keep to your self .. if youd like to make any suggestions for more alterations or if you dont think itll work at all post away and i hope y'all enjoy them ;)

Azcanize and PryXon are on ip3/4 at the moment
Revenge just on ip3

some of them are redirected ..we're changing over redirects at the moment so just a small delay in getting them on all servers but should be within the day 8)

Did Azca really need a 5th entrance to the flag room?

Has anybody tried Hosh?

I'd be willing to edit it to cater to IG if necessary, seems like a really good map for IG IMO, especially with the cool bunny track walls you can dodge up.

Revenge looks good, the entrance from flak to rockets was the best option. I remember the last time I played that in IG, pete raped everyone at the tunnel entrance :lol: Looking forward to trying it out.
I haven't played Azcanine for a long time so I forget what was lacking for IG.

These are the first of hopefully many new maps to come. People need to go into them with an open mind.. play them several times and assess what can be improved, if it's worth trying to fix, etc. The team that wins a new map usually likes it, the team that loses usually mutters about how the map sucks. Give them a few runs and provide feedback in this thread.

PryXon could use a bit of tweaking (flag not falling through grate, noise on bouncer, maybe stairs smoothed into a ramp), but overall I enjoyed playing it. Lots of ways in/out and I could see it being a success. The Coret textures seems a bit cheesy on any other map but I'm more concerned with the gameplay. Revenge looks sweet, hopefully it plays as well as it looks. Azcanize also looks pretty fun but I could see mid still getting a little congested. Will have to play to find out!

CTF-Revenge-v2
didnt check spawns but its still a horrible map
defenders will defend mid and attackers have to clear base if someone gets in
so probably still the same except that its a little easier to get in which results in attackers have to search/clear base more frequently

Pryxon is probably a map to stay with some nice edits...

Things to be changed:

stairs to go high, maybe ramps

Spawn on low is too easy to spawn kill...

When the flag is dropped in the jumper it goes below the jumper making it impossible to return...

The rest i wont think it work out personally without some more serious edits...
