There is no doubt i am in over my head on this matter, i don't fully understand it but there can be no harm to discussing what the differences are, as a player, i'd quite like to know the exact degree of inaccuracy and mismatch from what happens on your screen, to what the server registers and then as CK is doing, try to establish ways in which we can modify our ini's or hardware to enable that we get the best out of the TR and newnet.

tick rate is how many times the server updates client information per second

100 times per second for 100 tr ect, or 10ms between updates

you need a modern-ish PC and a decent enough connection to the server(not ping) for it to be able to handle the extra data compared to say 30tr

when i used under 100hz refresh i got the illusion that i'm shooting through people because the player models didn't seem to show as accurately on my screen

since switching to 120hz this problem has gone 99%
