Nordog VS Gizmo - Map Forfeit

Hello,

Team Nordog will be receiving a FFL for their pick of Duku in the match that happened this past Sunday, Apr. 27. Their team will receive -1 point instead of the 0 for the loss of the map. Nordog had picked Duku in the prior match week (1) and was not eligible to pick it again for the regular round robin of the season.

This is a reminder (even though it's been practiced for years now) that captains are only allowed to the one ONCE through the regular round robin season and ONCE throughout playoffs (not including TB). While we do keep tallies of maps that are picked it is still the captains responsibility to pick proper and eligible maps for their matches. I hope that we don't see this situation again as it's extremely easy to avoid.

There is much to consider as captain / player and considering everything that happened that night, none any of us who thought of this. We are only human and things happen when we are stressed.
Nordog did a good job of trying to get players to show up, babysit people.
Trying to get hold of a fifth player to play for us, who later became a forfeit loss in game dev.
After a long while to find a fifth player trying to get everyone joining TS / UT, while the opposing screams forfeit in two minutes!
Selecting a map with the existing lineup which a person lacks a microphone.

Would like to thank Hermione to jump in and played a awesome game given the situation.

No wonder people lose motivation and desire when you have to constantly occupy themselves with things like this.
We've played so many years now and it's no wonder it gets tiring to constantly keep on with this.
Thought the community had grown up a little more and show respect and like for others to play who devote time and planning into their everyday lives to have fun.
Ofc we all have lives etc, but atleast let the captain know about it so he can plan the upcoming matches.

And btw i would vote for a 1-2 hours earlier matches in the future

nordog was under a considerable amount of stress on Sunday, he did well given the pressure but still made a mistake, as NP said - we are all human, I've done the same thing in iTDM cups on CB..

If you don't draw lines the next person "forgets".... and then the next captain is also very stressed and "forgets"....

And before you know it we're just playing Duku only leagues because everybody is allowed to repick everything.
