Global Unreal

I know there's only minimal UT99 in the vid, but figured unreal1 is close enough to ut99 that it might be worth sharing, especially since I saw a few other non-ut clips in here. Sorry for potato quality, all footage taken from streaming (no demos in unreal1) when I had bad streaming settings Hopefully you can still enjoy the frags though

Nice frags dude! It was always a lot more difficult to kill people in U1. The players are a lot smaller in size relative to the map, plus the projectiles are significantly smaller so you have to be pretty accurate, whether it's air rockets or combos or flak especially. It's definitely not as balanced or suitable for competitive play, but I've always said U1 overall takes more skill than the others, and I still believe that. I remember playing U1 last year or so for just a couple of hours, and then when I played UT shortly after, UT felt so incredibly easy in comparison.

There's no telling how many thousands of hours I put into learning the ins and outs of fragging in that game. It's still #1 in my book so it's a shame only a small handful play it anymore. A while back I was looking for a frag video or something to show UT99 players who were curious about U1, but couldn't find anything. Thanks for posting this!
