Signature & Avatar making

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but here goes..

I'm looking to start making my own signatures and avatars and to help when teams are selected for leagues etc, I think it'd be a nice skill to have..

Just wondered if anybody had any tutorials to read, programs they recommend or people willing to maybe record a stream of them making a quick sig or something if possible.

I recommend you Photoshop or Illustrator. There are a plenty of tutorial around the internet.

It happens sometimes that I use 3Ds Max to create my models and edit all of it on photoshop.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 since like 2 weeks, I used to use Photoshop CS3 for 5 years orso.
I heard that progs like GIMP or GIMB are also pretty amazing but ps is the easiest & best for me.

for any tutorials you should search any gfx-forum for photoshop tutorials or sig tutorials you will learn alot very fast there
