Pete subbed Sorn, 5-10 minutes later with the score being 3-1 for blue team Pete suddenly cannot die when blue team shoots him and he can (according to himself) not pickup or return flags. Eventhough i told him after i noticed his behaviour he decided to continu and finish the map (think without dying once, thus 80% effi).

I never heard of a map/newnet/server glitch like that, and expected a player (especially an admin) to atleast reconnect, so maybe Pete or somebody else can explain this. And maybe somebody can set the assumption admins should lead by example straight, or can admins fuck up others game as they please?

For the most part, many of the times, admins are allowed to set the rules, enforce them like nazi's, not give warnings, and than in return allowed to do whatever they want without punishment

that happened to a teammate of mine in a pug this week, if i recall correctly it was Nate.
reconnect fixes it and it is indeed a rare newnet bug, happened to me once before too, no clue what causes it however

I'm not sure what causes it (possibly a race condition?) but I know it's linked to a little hack/workaround I created to reduce the frequency of server crashes in weapons ctf, although I'm not sure how effective it really is. I think I might remove it next version just to see if the frequency of crashes increases. If not, I'll keep it removed since that would mean it clearly doesn't work as intended. I've also recently done some other things to reduce server load (and hopefully crashes) so it should be interesting to see what happens.
