Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

KING OF THE RING #4 will be kicking off this afternoon/evening (if you're in Europe). Preliminary heats were randomly selected and have been posted on the . Organization is one of the largest obstacles when hosting such a massive tournament so we will need some help from all of you, especially in the first round. TimTim has coded a really bot that will set and pm people server info but we will still need you all to organize yourselves to a certain degree. I have set up channels on IRC for players to join (example Heat 1 = #1-1, Heat 2 = #1-2 and so forth). It would really help out admins if you could pm the people in your heat and get them nicely idled on IRC.



mrgrins will select the map order out of his magical hat 1-2hrs before the event actually starts. #iPug will have pugs disabled for the first 3 rounds and #GlobalUnreal will be the central channel to get information. The heats in Round 1 will be staggered but we are hoping to get it finished within 60-90mins. After this, things should move along A LOT faster.

If you are not able to attend, PLEASE let an admin know as soon as possible. If you weren't in the first 160 signups and would like to play.. have no fear there is a GREAT chance that you will be able to play. Some people no-show and some people are late, we will have a sub-queue open in #GlobalUnreal and so the earlier the bird, the more likely you will be to get the worm.

thought I might have a chance of passing the first round but now I just hope to don't be last hehe

heats were randomly made.. the top 48(3 per heat) were seeded and randomised and the remaining 112(7per heat) were randomised into heats too .. i think everybody has at least a chance of making it through the first round gl to everyone ;]
