Some ideas I had:
-Permanent, droppable amp.
The way this would work, is that the amp will spawn at the beginning of the map in an area that has to be accessed with 2 players or boots. Once taken, it will last forever and will drop from the player who has it when they die. It would add some interesting tactics to amp usage, and make it a constant threat throughout the entire game.
-Shock rate of fire increase powerup
Make a new pickup that increases the ROF of the shock rifle. Pretty simple.
-Require at least 2 players to capture a flag.
So, similar to getting the amp, scoring at all should require 2 players or boots or something. Although somewhat tedious sounding, it could add another interesting teamplay mechanic that nobody has really considered yet. I guess the issue with this is that it could also mean that you'd need two players to grab the flag. So you'd need to find a way for it to work both ways, i.e., grabbing takes one player but capping takes two.
