Greetings GlobalUnreal Comrades!

Here is the first edition of Open Mic -- my hopefully entertaining and noteworthy finger on the pulse of the community. Open Mic will be a weekly installment where I randomly poll members of GlobalUnreal via irc (#ipug, come join us!) on certain areas of the game, community, or current hot topics. If I've somehow missed you on the weekly question, this means one of two things -- a) you weren't idling in the channel or b) you never answered my pm cuz you're afk all the time Take initiative and send me a PM if you'd like to participate and share your input! I'll be happy to share the weekly question or topic with you. I'll take everyone's opinions and votes into account, however, I'll most likely only quote a direct few, so don't be discouraged if you don't see your name in lights one week.

In the future, I'm hoping these are a little more in depth with more responses. I've already done 2 to kickstart the segment, so keep an eye out for the 2nd post soon. But, without further adieu ----

Nice concept for a thread. As a suggestion, you might want to edit the title so people know what the open mic is about. I'm honored that people voted for me in the top 3 but I feel like I might be getting some votes on name, since my play has been mediocre of late.

with JYB starting to show his face again, I'm not sure who he's going to bump out of the top 3 on defense. Some really tough people to cap on these days.

Awesome thread. I will enjoy reading these on a consistent basis. Also will voice my opinion on any type of polls you will be asking.

Also very surprised Serenity didn't make best defender. Perhaps shots > Serenity is incorrect but it's opinionated!

Shots has his moments, but I would agree that his is out classed on defense by Sorn and Serenity

don't read too much into this fellas. it's just a "currently happening in #ipug" thing.
shots pugs a lot more so more people have his name on the tip of their tongues and sorn never pugs soooo ya.
