My G400 after 4 months is completely dead , had been playing up for about a week or two anyway.
When it was working it was the best mouse i have ever used.

Just got a g400 (second gen I think)

Initial try (seeing how I like it)

Image
UT Sens = I have it at 3 but that's just a starting point
6/11 Windows Sensitivity

Side to side, everything feels really off. Could just be new mouse syndrome (never used a gaming mouse). I turned DirectInput off and on and I couldn't tell much of a difference. Any suggestions? Should I have accel off on this if I have pointer precision off in windows settings? This is all greek to me.

Yes, please turn the acceleration off.

You could deinstall the Logitech software altogether if you don't plan on using any of its features. The mouse will automatically "run" at 1000Hz and it'll use the standard DPI settings of 400, 800, 1800 & 3600.

The angle snapping has been removed in the second generation g400's, so when drawing some lines in MS paint it should look something like that:

I always liked using 500hz with my g400, felt much more stable and smooth.
Sending g400 off to be repaired today.

My G400 died.

Plugged in G500, playing better than I have in years:

Image

0.86 UT sensitivity
Notch #5 on Windows
DefaultFOV=93.500000 (Matters for mouse speed)
Max weights

inb4 people saying my settings are "wrong" (IJ).
