Master Server

Gamespy is closing down their master server hosting. This is by May 31st.

We do have a solution to be able to see most of the server list, with 333Network has been around and operating.

Hmm this 333networks seems a bit sketch, possibly cheats.

Does this mean that we'll have to edit our ut inis to point to the 333networks server after the gamespy server goes offline ? If so, UT players who weren't in "the know" would think that there were no servers online.

Is it possible to simply setup the GameSpy server link to redirect to the 333 one somehow?

Or, if not, a better option would be to have se7en set something up. He owns the utchat domain, which I believe displays the message you see when you load the server browser.

i can still query servers after removing the gamespy one. the epicgames.com master server must still be up?

Yep, we'll get it sorted out.
333Networks is already on top of it (just in case) and at least 2 other sites may provide 333Network's master for us.

EPIC's Master currently does Not work in your browser (only binds, but does not deliver) - but they May get it working soon!

GameSpy, Currently, is actually the only Master Server that really works with the UT browser - try it, or read about it at links Above.
Nelsona tested and tested and found that GameSpy is actually the only one that really works with the UT browser. (except for 333Networks of course)

PS: 333Networks is Very trustworthy! (I know)
