idk herm, that looks like a ball mouse to me..

KEA, I marked my keyboard for ut cause I never could find "the spot" again once I moved it to play w-a-s-d games as I use the arrow keys for UT. Years ago I used to rage when people shifted my keyboard or mouse around and ended up doing the same thing..old habits die hard I guess. What you can't see is that there is some tape holding my mouse cord from falling down behind the desk also :D

Used to have a G15. I never really liked it as a keyboard, considering the keys were really "mushy". The tiny display is really nice though with , which shows cpu/network etc. It also enabled you to kill programs that died which was a killer feature few years back when windows / games weren't so stable.

Replaced it with a G710+ when the keyboard died, and it's pretty damn good. According to the interwebs it should be one of the more silent mechanical keyboards, but it's still pretty damn loud to me :ugeek:

might as well add mine in

used to have a standard dell keyboard

then had a lycosa (was such a shit keyboard sorry to anyone that has one here, I really feel for you) felt my performances drop quite a bit as well as movement becoming garbage, the membrane tore on the up arrow key and that was the catalyst in me changing keyboards and going mechanical also
Image

then i bought a qpad mk-80 - best investment in a keyboard I have made I chose to go for the brown mx switches

Woohoo, I'm unique, none of you have my keyboard. Its not a mechanical one, a touch one that's really quite quiet imo.

For $72, that's a great keyboard with MX Brown switch. It has backlighting (every key lights up individually), 5 year warranty, has cord management underneath, and solid build. I couldn't find another keyboard similar to that for under $120. Only issue is that these keyboards are tough to find and sell out quickly on Amazon -- I have to wait 3 weeks to receive mine.

Topre Realforce108B-MP / G-Tune MasterPiece

PS/2 only keyboard that's only sold in Japan. It's neither membrane nor mechanical, but uses "electrostatic capacitive" switches that are proprietary to Topre. geekstuff4u is the only website I know of that imports them to the US.

PS/2 is the fastest way for a keyboard to communicate with a pc (better even than 1000hz usb polling).

108 keys and a Japanese layout. The ultimate keyboard! http://www.overclock.net/t/933277/gtune ... -mp-review

Bear bought a duck(y) to play with :o

P.S. Rickjames uses a $350 keyboard. I would expect him to be super pro with the super expensive pro build he uses :o

I use this keyboard, i dont really care about keyboards since it does not improve anything in your gaming, also mechanical keyboards is too loud my parents would get mad, if this one fails ill prolly look for a nice backlit one or something.

might check that $70 cutie out. my flimsily keyed k120 feels like it gets flimsier by the day. i really dont mind the mouse ive been using for years (standard ms optical) but i recently tried out a friend's (naga i think?) and it feels so much better, not only how the sides are pushed in for easier grip but i had no idea that the chords on these gaming mice were like fabric. dat zero resistance dough.

Correction, the mouse I was referring to is the the taipan not the naga. Anyone ever use a taipan here? If someone says this is an off topic question I might put my head into the wall
