I know i cant wrap my head around the situation, these folks think these "gaming keyboards" will give them an upper hand in gaming. I agree it may be a little more comfortable than basic ones and look cooler, but thats about it. If keyboard = skill increase in gaming, then i would of already bought a gaming one by now. I love the one i have now , its super comforable and smooth, the only way i would replace it, is if it gets too dirty to a point it looks old and i cant clean it anymore. But I encourage you to keep dreaming about your theory blah.

There are certain things you only get with a "gaming keyboard" but it's not going to improve your game like a mouse/mousepad/monitor (the "3 M's" of gaming).
