I had both monitors, asus and benq, the benq is more fancy and had cool features and colors, but the asus was smoother, so get the asus. But the benq is good too, depends on your choice. make sure its 144hz tho

i tried lightboost once with my asus144hz and it was a complete shitshow. Massive even coached me on settings, etc. Everything looked goofy. I had input lag and it all went choppy - fps went to shit. I uninstalled it after 15 minutes. Would not recommend.

yea the added input lag is unavoidable with lightboost enabled on the benq's and asus's(2-5ms), and depending on your monitor the exact amount will vary. i read that certain samsungs cause lag 4-5 times that amount. the thing is though, if you're particularly sensitive to blur your lessened "brain lag" would more than make up for the input lag. all depends on the person.

..or you could use a CRT which supports up to 200hz refresh rates and has no motion blur AND less input lag than 144hz panel WITHOUT lightboost.

Hehehe just got my low-end crap overused-with-bad-convergence-I'll-have-to-adjust CRT, UT feels great at 120hz (after some optimizations, thanks RJ!). Even though my aim sucks I still can't help but hit things. lol what
