I haven't spoken to PACO lately, or have any up to date knowledge of the appeal. I don't know what you discussed, what terms he finds acceptable as ''proof'', what your suggestions were, etc. As I said, the admin that is handling the appeal is PACO. If there's a ball rolling, I apologise, I did not know about it. Which is why I was letting you know that you'd have to wait till PACO was back.
The reason I said maybe you should chase it is because I've not heard any other admins recently saying you've contacted them. Last I heard of anything was a while back (at least a month or so).
Regarding proof burdening:
When someone is suspected cheating, it is upon the admins to prove they are or aren't cheating.
When someone wants to prove their innocence, it is upon the that person to prove it isn't so. But how this works I don't know. I don't know if this is a common practice or has been done before in the past. I've not seen it before in my 1,5 year I've been around at GU.
Regarding my post:
I just explained to you that an appeal is difficult to prove, and that it's not "admins not doing anything" but from an objective point of view that it's extremely hard to find a way to prove it. But PACO is working with you to find a solution and you have not been forgotten or ignored.
Also just to be clear, I said that _ I _ have no idea how he can prove his innocence, and I won't be the person dealing with or deciding on it (unless you and PACO have an agreement that somebody else will continue with your appeal, which I don't know about).
It did certainly not mean you won't get the chance to appeal, there isn't a solution available at all, we don't stand behind the ban, are 'pretending' to be fair and other accusations posted.
