Still no key log and no proof other than opinions based on clips viewed by a handful of individuals.

Still not a single admin has made an effort to contact me in regards to this. How is this fair? :?: :?:

Personally, I think that if you're serious about appeal Nick, you should be the one chasing it, not expect the admins who banned you to chase you to please prove your innocence. But that's besides the point.

You will agree that it is an extremely difficult situation. I don't think there is any humanly way possible for you to prove you weren't cheating before, just theoretically be able to prove that you aren't cheating right now. Which is basically what you are trying to prove in the first place, and why the appeal process has been lengthy so far.

With this in mind, as temporary regent, I cannot think of a single plausible and realisable way for you to prove your innocence at current. If you DO have ideas, please let me know and I will discuss it with the dictator when he comes back (which, I warn you, will not be for at least a month). Please bear in mind that the appeal & handling of it is entirely up to PACO and you will unfortunately have to await his return and decision.

I hope this clears things up.

Why is the burden of proof on the accused?

One day Nick is going on about his day playing UT then he gets accused and later banned. Now he has to prove(good luck doing that) that he doesn't cheat? To who? The same people that already decided he is cheating by banning him? This whole system makes no fucking sense to me. If you are going to ban someone, why the fuck is there an option to appeal? Are you telling me you weren't sure about the ban but went ahead with it anyway? Or is this a way for admins to pretend to be partial while knowing nothing Nick does will change anything?

I haven't spoken to PACO lately, or have any up to date knowledge of the appeal. I don't know what you discussed, what terms he finds acceptable as ''proof'', what your suggestions were, etc. As I said, the admin that is handling the appeal is PACO. If there's a ball rolling, I apologise, I did not know about it. Which is why I was letting you know that you'd have to wait till PACO was back.

The reason I said maybe you should chase it is because I've not heard any other admins recently saying you've contacted them. Last I heard of anything was a while back (at least a month or so).

Regarding proof burdening:

When someone is suspected cheating, it is upon the admins to prove they are or aren't cheating.
When someone wants to prove their innocence, it is upon the that person to prove it isn't so. But how this works I don't know. I don't know if this is a common practice or has been done before in the past. I've not seen it before in my 1,5 year I've been around at GU.

Regarding my post:

I just explained to you that an appeal is difficult to prove, and that it's not "admins not doing anything" but from an objective point of view that it's extremely hard to find a way to prove it. But PACO is working with you to find a solution and you have not been forgotten or ignored.

Also just to be clear, I said that _ I _ have no idea how he can prove his innocence, and I won't be the person dealing with or deciding on it (unless you and PACO have an agreement that somebody else will continue with your appeal, which I don't know about).
It did certainly not mean you won't get the chance to appeal, there isn't a solution available at all, we don't stand behind the ban, are 'pretending' to be fair and other accusations posted.

Well first off don't call me a liar just because I sent you one pm. You're not the entire admin staff are you? I reached out to multiple admins even ifit was a single message per person someone should have still answered. I've been back and forth with PACO multiple times and he says he will get the admins involved and nothing comes of it. This has been going on for MONTHS and I've made it a huge point to express I want something done and offered up multiple solutions to what I could do. Don't say that I'm not making an effort when I am.

Reason being as to why I didn't show you that night was because I got no response from the two other people that I wanted to have involved. I'm not going to sit there and have to do this multiple times for different people when it can all have been taken care of at once if I had gotten the responses back that night. (Or we could have set up a specific day and time.)

ps. You like to mention wasting time and I think that's funny. You had no problem wasting time sifting through my demos for over a year to look for things that aren't there to accomplish what? Removing a clean top tier player from competition further reducing the suffering player base? You're not really a person who should be in power, you're really not that good at catching cheaters like you think you are. It's honestly sad that no one has the balls to tell you that. If you want to post private conversations to try and make me look dumb that's fine, I can do the same.
