Mouse issues with UT

Postby Keith » Wed Jun 19, 2013 6:07 pm

Hello,

I have some issues with my UT, sometimes I get random mouse acceleration which makes my mouse go super fast.
I installed MarkC's mouse fix, D3D9 renderer (tried D3D8 and OpenGL, same issues) but the issue doesn't come out.
Here's a video to show how it looks like (it happens around 20 seconds).

My rig is i7 2700k, amd hd 7950, 16gb ram and a benQ 120hz. Mouse is a logitech g400s.
Os Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits.

I saw Serenity getting the same issue in the past but I still can't figure out how to fix it. UT gets unplayable because of that.

Hope you guys know how to fix it, thanks in advance. I can post my ini if needed.

Not sure what your os is, but make sure your cpu isn't throttling. Google it, there are many articles for your particular os.

Also try this, "C:\Unreal Anthology\UnrealTournament\System\UnrealTournament.exe" -cpuspeed=3410

Put the correct speed of your cpu in place of mine. your command line may be different also, just put -cpuspeed= at the end.

Do you have directinput on? Having it off gave me all kinds of weird mouse problems in UT- Sometimes my mouse would be perfect, other times random positive or negative accel. Try turning it on if it's off.

It's supposed to give better performance in Windows but it seem to cause more troubles than anything.
