Teamspeak on public servers

I am new to Global Unreal and had used ts for the first time then. I have a friend who wants to start playing ut again and I will train him on some public servers again. Is it ok to use the ts.globalunreal teamspeak channels for sth like this or what channels can be used for sth like this?
