So glad that this is fixed. Only played a few games and I'm getting better than I ever was.
Thank you Tim!

Logitech g105, did not have it yesterday, but have it today (have changed no settings in between). I also get it on my old Atechx7 g100.
seems that i autodoge when pressing two different directions sequently....
I have noticed that it seems to happen only on ace servers but not on all of them... TimTim you were mentioning ace settings that were fostering the problem, can you give more detail?
thanks

I have found that if a keyboard does not have an anti-ghosting or key-rollover feature you will get random auto dodges. I was getting them constantly until I bought a mechanical keyboard with anti-ghosting of key presses. Some cheaper keyboards advertise they have it but are limited to only certain key combinations like w-a-s-d and q + e or the arrow keys and shift/ctrl

It is the only thing that was able to fix mine, playing ut99 on any other keyboard I get random side dodges. Since switching to this mechanical I haven't had a single one.

anyone got experiences with the g710+ (mechanical, why I am thinking about getting it as an alternative to my g105)?

It's usb and most likely has an anti-rollover feature for the wasd and arrow keys. It's really a crapshoot in which keyboards have the capability and which ones don't, as some that have it advertised as anti-ghosting still suffer from ghosting and key-rollover when pressing shift + wasd + any other key and some that don't advertise any feature like that at all have no ill effects while using the main gaming keys.

Going mechanical is purely preference, as they have a solid click to them and are fairly noisy when typing. But they are almost always anti-ghosting and key rollover, so it's a much safer bet if you're having problems auto-dodging.

Or try and get lucky that the k120 works as well for you as it does in angusland
