"time out during check spawn" message.

hi guys,
i've been getting into UT for the past 2 days. first time i've played in years and years.
quite often, i will join a server from the list, and i will get kicked a minute or two later with the message "time out during check spawn"
i think it has something to do with ace.

any ideas? anyone ever experienced this?

sometimes i have that problem too, but, its when i have very high ping or packetloss, just in that moments, the server kicks me, so, check your internet connection
