UT99 on OS X Lion?

Postby dR3 » Sat Dec 22, 2012 11:38 am

Because my macbook uses like 20 times less energy than my game pc i wanted to try UT99 on it; found a link, downloaded it and ut99 worked immediately. I was surprised since i'm a total mac-newb. Thought id share the link: , if its not useful for any of you i at least can find it after a fresh install 8-)

Playing with mods with native packages might prove troublesome.

When did these versions of UT get released and how do they play d3r? I was stuck on a Mac for years and the port I used was dark and choppy.

Otherwise you can still create the application via Wineskin

You just need the .exe files then it's suppose to work.

I've been playing for about 6 months on a Macbook. Sometimes it works perfectly, but some other times i get a kernel panic message and the only way of "fixing" it is to restart the MAC. Maybe my version is too old? I'm using Leopard.

I tried getting it to work on a MAC for a couple years, but I ended up dual booting my iMac to Windows 7. Works like a charm now.
