skipping frames like that is a sign of using a low polling rate like 125hz(am i wrong?)

i had that with my mx518 when i didn't lock my fps to hz

try again with 500hz

vsync should be off, or you would just get 119.9 fps all the time :/ so i assume it's off

you must have really small hands

get a g400, it's light and has a thin mouse cord so it'll be easy to use with a claw grip

It happens when I don't move the mouse, it's something with UT! I actually don't have small hands, but I've played with a finger grip since I bought diamondback in 04 or 05. I've tried switching to palm, but it's like trying to write with my left hand. Very impossible :P I ordered an Abyssus mirror edition from china for $20, maybe that'll do better ^^

I though the Diamondback was a good mouse, in my opinion their downfall started when they released Copperhead. I think I went through 7 or 8 of them. Most of them died in fits of rage (I destroyed a bunch back in the day), but alot of they had tracking issues out of the box... Since that mouse I've thought that every single mouse they've produced has at least one deal breaking flaw. It's so annoying they are the only company that releases small mice. The rest relies on IME clones, it seems... The few mice I've found that appear small in size are still far too big for me :/

Haha, I'm a cheap ass bastard ;) Also I'm having a tough time finding the Abyssus mirror edition (which should have been made with a newer firmware a.k.a. hopefully less bugs), and this chinese guy just happened to have one :)
