New around need some help with INI/mouse

Hey guys...
Im an old TacticalOps player and i just came back to play TO after being off for a long time...
and i wanted to ask your help about brining back my CONFIG to prefection
when i played TO i was realy good with the INI files USER/TACTICAL OPS and i remmber i manage to find my self a good config and my mouse felt perfect so are the grapichs/fps
but now after long time i cant get the same feeling and i dont know what to do

all i remmber is that i had Deathadder mouse/400dpi 500 hz and played on windows xp
now i have new computer
GTX680
I5-3570K
WINDOWS 7
dell u2312hm
same deathadder mouse with same settings

but it seems the game feels so wierd and i cant find the how to get that perfect aim feeling...also the game dont runs smooth as b4 and if i remmber good FPS affects your mouse smothness

last time i downloaed a UT ini (they work for tactical ops if u change few lines)
and it felt so amazing with the mouse and fps and ive been so good cause of that...but not i just cant find that SAME FEELING AGAIN...

i disabled VSYNC in NVIDIA DRIVERS
i did swapinterval = -1 in inis
i checked DIRECT INPUT
disabled windows accel

but still i feel wierd...



i wonder maybe some of you can help me and share some INIs knowledge or uplode your inis so i can check them out and see if its works...

have you tried playing in opengl?
have you reinstalled a fresh version of ut? chicken's?

get on irc and download/install a fresh copy. Ask in the channel what the download command is... i think it's !ut or !getut or !linkut but not sure....

the download is called "chicken's ut"

don't delete your old install just yet but try the new one. It has the updated d3d/opengl drivers preinstalled, maps, everything current. might clear up your issues without getting nit picky about ini lines

^^ After doing the above hop in an online game... the packets/sec out should pretty consistently match your FPS.

followed Rootsofts guide
keepalive thingy
downloaded the altest opengl driver
markc mouse fix

should i install xp over windows 7 ? does it realy affects?

IG = instagib = one shot one kill

We host leagues and tournaments with players from all over the world with the help of Newnet (a zp-like mod that fixes a lot of lag issues). You will download this directly from the servers.

The most popular pug mod for the channel is 5v5 CTF
I'd recommend joining #ipug and typing .j ictf

also search the CTF tab for IG pub servers.
We've had a dozen or so (or more???) players come from TO and do quite well in IG

Hello deathadder, your ping won't be amazing but the ping compensation mod that we use will make it playable at a competitive level. We have people playing from all over the world.. Europe, SA, Israel etc with games happening at all hours of the day. The community is expanding 14 years in, so if you're looking for a reliable old school twitch shooter, you'll enjoy UT99. I can even give some lessons and power train you and your m8s (did it for the other TO converts).
