Looks awesome even better than the previous versions I've seen and get over beefmonkey already riven it wasn't even that bad of a map to begin with but everyone seems to keep thrashing it like its coret or niven.

Very cool map! I'll put it on servers for testing when I update mapvote for saCTF. (I didn't get a chance to do it yesterday.)

@riven, constructive feedback only, please.

Looks pretty nice tbh windigo, Def looks like thought went into it lots of nice little BT/Movement aspects to the map as well looking forward to trying this one.

Found one annoying lil bug :

I know BSP's can be hard to fix, but that ones gona be mega annoying for defenders i think;d

Idk, looks the same as all the maps previously. Same grey brick texture with a open platform as the map.

I agree with Zac, it's not the best looking of maps... yet :)

But oh well, gameplay has always been the most important in my opinion.

played it twice:
http://www.globalunreal.com/utstats/?p=match&mid=31634
http://www.globalunreal.com/utstats/?p=match&mid=31632

was generally well received.
most of the flag running happens going straight low and choosing a side (or boosting through mid sprinta style), though we did get a couple boosts off with the jump pads.
very easy to grab, hard to cap. easy to cover. lots of angles to attack from coming in high. probably won't solo cap

I enjoyed it. Attacking low and leaving low seems to be the thing to do most of the time, or at least that's the only way I managed to ever cap. It has a lot of interesting dynamics. If there's some way to make it easier to attack/leave from somewhere other than low, I think it should be done. And maybe make it harder for defense to camp in corners and snipe. There are so many places for them to silently watch the flag from, and damn did Risus frustrate the hell out of me killing me from a different spot every time.

I trimmed some of the fat to make it less busy and easier to navigate and call positions. Flag area changes to hopefully make flag running more dynamic. Added some teleporters to increase traffic in the other lanes.

Thanks to everyone thats played tested it thus far. You help more than you know. Mappers face a great challenge in trying to imagine everything on their lonesome.

Actually, to me, it looks like a breath of fresh air.
I also looks like it might be a good map for my PirateDeemerCMM server. (DM or CTF type map) ;)
Let me know when it is finished or available.

Tweaking the mountains was what messed up the zoning in the map. That's the backside of a mountain that was breaking the lava. Special thanks to anguis for trying to make this a bigger issue than it was.

FIrst pug with the bugged lava was a non issue.

Second pug all anguis did was sabotage his team and take the flag into the lava. The annotations in the video show you where he would take and stall with the flag. I sent backout there to look for him and he accused blackout of radaring, lol. The child tried to say he thought it was a design feature because i have mooing boosters in another map, even after i told him he was exploiting a bug. 15 minutes into the game the jackass couldn't tell which lava was bugged and which killed him, many stalls and many incinerations.

Here's a link to beta 3

Fixed the lava.
Boosters will return flags dropped on them.
