This is a DM (1v1?) map mirrored for iCTF. This type of edit would be eligible for the competition if someone other than myself made it. ;)

Making maps from the ground up is awesome and all, but I was honestly hoping to see more simple edits like this. There are a lot of gems out there just waiting to be made into good iCTF maps!

Thanks for the heads up medor! Interesting that the original CTF-Amon has no relation to the map I based this one on, DM-Amon.

Without really thinking about it, I'd say it looks reminiscent of a mix between Gataka and Grudge (Grudge mostly because of the texturing and cosmetics, Gataka because I don't know). CTF-Gatakudge.

Played the map for the first time now after looking through the new maps and finding this one to be one of the most promising maps of them all.

I had fun on it, but if the defense would not have been totally lost I think this map would be really hard to cap on, cause it has two big choke points where you switch base and it shouldn't be to hard to defend them to return once both teams figure this out.

My suggestion is to move the walls towards the base to open up for more entrances into a now smaller base, this would give space to design a mid part, that could look in a million ways so I don't have any fixed suggestion but I think once you play around with it you will figure something out.

The walls I suggest to move to those locations:

Right side:

Here you would have 3 entrances, one for mid, one for where I am standing and one for the water low. Also would need some for of entrance to high to open up that for the offence also.

Left side:

One entrance where I stand to jump out of base, possibly to a ledge that is already on the right. One entrance for low where the water is and maybe even make a jump window for high slightly towards where you get out from the elevator. I would also leave a hole above my head to have a drop down path changer for those coming from high.

Hope you continue to work on this map, since I think it got some great potential to work.

PS. Name suggestion CTF-Mine?
