Does anyone have experience with kickers next to walls and how to configure them for bots? I know there are a few tutorials but I don't get that shit done. Help me! :oops:

This map actually looks pretty nice base.. I have a few suggestions for it ill post some screens and stuff tomorrow but i quite like the design of it

Btw. I just tried to make the bots using the kickers (without buncing on them all day), but I didn't get it, so this map probably won't have any but support. But I hope thats not that relevant for pugs and league play.

Hey sorry for the delay :)

Most of my suggestions are just for mobility around the map helping players switch and change a little more but the main change id suggest is the flag positioning ..

Id pop the flag somewhere near my crosshair.. where it is at the moment is a bit of a death trap ..people sniping from high and your only way out is a long ramp or 2 slow bounce pads (makes you an easy target)

Also @ the bounce pads, would if be possible to make them more like "duku pads" so you can control your velocity and directions a little more would definitely create a lot more dynamic flag running and just generally getting around the map

A little lift here would be good too just to add the extra option to get high change of direction cut offs flag running etc ..

On the side routes you can see almost from base to base.. could maybe extend the pillars close by on the screenie ..add boxes in the middle.. alter the architecture in the middle so you need to swerve round a little, just needs to be obscured a little more so defenders cant sit on the sides sniping across middle

Extend the ledge to make it possible to dodge over the lava/acid, just makes the offence a little more mobile

Lift here could be nice the area over the lava/acid is a little redundant at the moment.. switching high there could be pretty op but the risky dodge over so is a risk/reward thing

tiny thing but maybe a box to jump up on the beam would be nice.. little things to add extra mobility and more options to surprise defenders are always nice

Also i think the spawns needs switching up also if you want a little help hit me up and we can jump on a server if youre ok to change things up
..

Overall i think its a really nice base of a map though interesting layout.

i played this map for the first time today: http://www.globalunreal.com/utstats/?p=match&mid=33830

- This map is way way to big and has a very slow pace, you will kill the enemy offence 9/10 times wich makes it boring on defence too. This map needs to be rescaled in my opinion to make it more faster paced and maybe bounce pads instead of lifts in mid?
- Edit spawns so that you face towards the enemy base, i found myself running back into my own base a few times and i was not the only one to complain about that.

Indeed. I was told this before, so I made an entirely new base.
I also made the mid a bit smaller, so cap times should be 12 sec using the low way.
Could be CampLinfort][ then...
But I don't really know where I should use more kickers in mid. The only lifts are the ones to reach the side lanes, for which one has to dodge over the water. But I don't really see the necessity to change this. Please explain.

I am going to edit the spawns of course.

Looked on the new edit, still might be slightly to big, but will give it a try. Definitely should be a faster map then the old one.

I made it smaller at the shown area. If I had to make it even smaller, I'd have to delete the hatched area maybe. I really don't know about that, because I like the middle as it is and this would take away another lane to attack, which is relatively safe and has plenty of ways to the flag right now.
