gotta have some underdogs. good call
powerups add flow to a map. if you don't contest them, you lose advantage. cycling armour/belt/pads/vials requires active control of the map. you can't hide
"Having a time limit is lame. If you happen to take belt first you can easily control the map, gain enough of a lead then play hide and seek."
that's not how 1v1s play out. people don't need to force engagements when they have a lead, but they can't just give up map control. they choose smart engagements. over powerups, or with superior position, etc.
