** Each captain will assemble a team of 10 players from their respective continents to face off in the biggest battle between the two. Each captain will turn in their team rosters by March 16 which they will then be published. Better start strutting your stuff in #iPug to get on the radar!

Each team will select two maps as their choices. Map order will be based on the following:

A team LMS game (5v5) will be set up with 3 lives each and a 2 minute time limit. The team with the Last Man Standing will be given the choice of "A" or "B" in map order ABBA and will determine which team eliminates first during the map removal process should the game come down to a 5th map (each captain removes a map until it is narrowed down to one).

Delete Dreary and do the map selection method we are using for the 1v1 Finals best of 5 (since this is basically 1v1) and it's ok.

Just going to point out the obvious here..

1) If you're born in USA and live in Europe (doesn't apply to me), does that mean you can choose who you represent? If chosen for NA this time, can you switch to Europe for AS II?

2) European countries.. a lot of heated debate and stuff, are you following countries that are inside the European Union or "classed" as Europe, by the Eurovision Song Contest (srs, no joke) - clear example here is that Israel is NOT in the EU, but is in the EUROvision.

Might need to clarify the rules for European participants.

I don’t think we'll be requesting birth certificates, there's only 20 players anyway.

I'm not an organiser but common sense suggest that we'll use countries that are inside the geographical continent of Europe - which is the most commonly used definition of the term 'Europe'.

Membership of the European Union is a political choice with no impact on where a country is located

As for the E.S.C. :

Eligibility to participate is not determined by geographic inclusion within the continent of Europe, despite the "Euro" in "Eurovision" — nor does it have a direct connection with the European Union. Several countries geographically outside the boundaries of Europe have competed
