Can you at least grade on the curve?

Seriously though, you seem like kind of a boring person and really pose little challenge, yet you think you are the second coming of von clausewitz. I don't get it. I know you are trying sweetie, but brilliance really can't be taught.

oh, and don't bother lighting that candle - you can't even hold it to me.

Listen, I'd love to chat, but I got into trouble again

This thread needs some perspective. A guy who admittedly disdains basically anyone who plays ut except himself is displeased with the variety of maps being chosen. Unfortunately he's having trouble rallying enough people to give a shit because he goes around acting like a complete douche bag while hiding behind the convenient excuse of "just saying it like it is."

That being said, I'll weigh in on the issue.
1. I'm satisfied with the variety in the current map list.
2. I wouldn't care if more maps were added.
3. I usually pick popular maps when I'm captain because it's easier to play as a team when everyone actually knows the map.
4. As for duku, I think it's a great map for pugs because even newer players can contribute to the effort.

Now that aven's finished tossing around sloppy rhetoric, I'll pick up the slack and contribute some facts.

Before aven posted, this thread was a discussion about maps.
After aven posted, this became a discussion about aven.
Since aven posted there's been 17 posts, half of them by aven himself.

I present to you someone sucking his own cock.

Once again, I draw your attention to his little tagline at the top.

Back to maps!

Maps currently up for consideration

Extortion: A horribly boring stalemate that promotes poor CTF team play. I have no desire to pug on this map.
Espirit: A horribly boring stalemate that rewards good CTF team play. Though it is quite difficult put into action plays on this map. If offenses learned to ignore opposing offenses it would be much more enjoyable. I wouldn't pick this map but I'm not opposed to it being on the map list.
Epicman (whats is it with the E maps): I see no reason why this map should not be on the map list. It does have a lot of DMing but it has many avenues to avoid the central DM and get grabs. There are a surplus of boots that are very powerful for running which reward smart flag runners vs strong flag runners. It also has good places to stall with the flag which I think heighten excitement. If the issue with this map is too much DMing some easy tweaks can be made. Widen the bridge across middle, or perhaps keep it the same width and connect it to the side entrance. Either option makes low mid less important to control.
