We need a 5 min rule, but a rule is not enough, it needs to be enforced. Once people realize it is enforced they will get in the server instead of waiting around because they know at least one other person will be late.

The problem is admins would rather see the pug happen and not deal with the bs. I say nay. This rule should be enforced to the letter not the spirit. It was done before and it worked. 5 minutes is more than enough to get in (TS and UT), set positions, and click.

If we were to do this in a step cycle process

Step.1) Start enforcing 10 min bans ALL the time
Step.2) Change 10min rule to 7minutes
Step.3) Start enforcing 7 min ban all the time
Step.4) Changing 7min rule to 5min rule
Step.5) Start enforcing 5min rule all the time.

And to make sure admins arn't getting overworked, make it a min 12hr ban if you come late to a pug. Severe punishment = better results in rules getting followed...

I think the biggest problem to get this implemented is taking the intial beating of having pugs die because someone showed up late and got banned + no sub avail. At first there will be a lot of RE-pugs because of this, but people will start to smarten up and learn and we'll be back to normal, click in and ready to roll! 8-)

IMO 24hr minimum ban. Some people play one pug a day and a 12hr ban is nothing.

The pug doesn't have to die, if they guy shows up at 8 min he can play the pug but he has to take the 24hr ban.

5 min rule to be clicked, this means a map is starting (map already picked). change should happen overnight, 10-7-5 or w/e is dumb imo. advertise it for a week, spam it everywhere, then change it

36 hour ban

even if they show up, they should be banned, or the rule is pointless
