Europe vs. ROW

I'm thinking of perhaps putting a one night best of 7 maps one night before the league starts, with stream.

Here's what I'm thinking.
European players will vote a captain to lead the team and also pick the team (this will not be too difficult as there's not that many euros)
And same for North American players, etc.

Also a server rotation would also be in order, as it will keep it fair and competitive as possible.

For example:
Americans win the coin toss, so they decide to either pick their map on the European server, or their server with the European map.
Winning the coin toss means you can either have a ABBAAB or BAABBA
(A obviously being American map choices, B being European)
For every map picked by Europeans, will ALL be played on an American server, and vice versa.

I'm thinking the start date should be obviously when we can all agree to a time.

Sounds fun. Best of 7 might be too long though. What do you think about best of 5?

Even best of 5 might be long. Why not start with best of 3 first. Take into consideration you're trying to grab the best of the best from both sides, I can see the teams being stuck with even scores and long OTs. If the first few go quick you can always expand as everything plays out.
