Good times with Imperious and Tony placing in the top 8. Riven had an epic computer crash which prevented him from being able to show up right before the start. Blackout had an epic internet crash which prevented him from arriving for the semifinals. Well done Imp and Tony!

Its really great it seems like everyone had fun 8)

was one of the most entertaining tournaments ive played/been around in ut, even though we only played 2 maps i pretty much didnt stop laughing entire 2 maps

99% of the people involved were really cooperative and like imperious said laid back and just in it to have fun.. we made a few rules on the fly and it lasted a little longer than expected but i hope everyone had fun;p

once again nob chica grins tim eno rummy did awesome 8) GU just getting bigger and better

my personal highlights were seeing chica coming near me on liandri and saying dont shoot dont shoot dont shoot donnttt.. ok you shot D(sry chica!) :X

HU's suicide spree only for me to go to the teamspeak portugal and the kgb were sat in together to explain that kgb had gone out because of it, morpheus reaction was funny :p

stormtroopers getting a mapwin in a pretty stacked heat, but phear came through being really clutch in the last minute of the second map

lots of underdogs got map wins and came through too which made it even more fun.

i might go through stats next day or two and put up frags etc but im pretty sure bleh deserves a shout out for most kills
and toy/white deserve a shout for getting about 10 kills between them all tourny but making the semifinals ..toy even made it an entire map without dying or killing anyone

hope everyone keeps showing interest and keeps turning up to these events and we'll keep running them hopefully theyll get bigger and better

LOOOL This was by miles the funniest tournament i ever had the pleasure to play!

This is was an opportunity to play with my mates and even though vitrae was bitching at first but he came to his senses, and i think it couldn't be better since we all missed to play speaking pt!

I will try to summarize some of the journey and some of the best/hilarious moments we had ahahah and trust me i giggled like a school girl yesterday just like PACO predicted!!!



We started off really good with some nice spawns by me and vitz and dominating our positions with eno with some hilarious team kills (HI VITZ)



Started really bad with me having 2 kills (LOLOL SHITMAPGG) and our team being 3rd with madteta deciding not to camp while he had the lead over ph34r loooooool with me having a little meltdown (really little).

Second map was just super hilarious cause i died again (gg u) too soon and called out every single position of the campers to vitz and him having some real nice clutch kills with my super descriptive information in pt ahaha they clutched and we won that round once again!

However the funny part lies on the fact that we made an alliance with the EL SPANISH BROTHERS and when we were at 15 mark in game and 2 of them were beside me and 1 beside vitrae we coordinated on ts to kill them at the same time betraying our alliance ( LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL)



It started off the worst possible ahhaah ALL teams decided to fuck the PT's over and lets say it worked like a charm to most but gold (crunk's team) since we practically wipped out his entire team !

For the second map i was (lets say) upset and with crunk being 3rd they wanted an alliance, my first instinct was to say no but i had to swallow my pride (no brazzers jokes pls) and make an alliance. Crunk promissed us that we could take first as long as they took second LOLOL HOWEVER THE MATH WAS WRONG AS WE WILL SEE IN A SEC LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

It worked out like a charm as we took off monk's team first as we wanted, and white choc right after with vitz being clutch as hell and everyone shouting on ts ahahah

After white went out i made super pressure on ts to holdy for him to suicide (since we worked out a deal) and he did it since he thought they would also pass.

Cheers to him for sticking up to the deal even tho was a shit deal for them apparently but not many people would honor it since it was 5-1 with few seconds remaining!!!

I cannot stress out that i could not stop laughing after we knew about it and they were gone from our TS channel LOOOOOOOL sorry bros <3

This was the most hilarious round ever since we made an alliance with every single team LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

AHAHAH i could not stop giggling ahaha the plan was to not kill anyone and they not kill us and let them kill each other

Plan however fell apart with the betrayals of Traitor kylewins and monk, curiously the alliance with bear's team stuck and we can thank them for saving our asses

Second map we made an alliance with all to take out the winner of map1 (monk's team) LOL and they got to taste their own medicine (see round 3) !! Since they had to kill 90 people they were out really soon!

Since we knew green was reliable we took out phear's team first and then the title be decided between us. Worked out great and we were on the lead by many until Fish?? turned the haxv.13.37 and did a killing spree in a row on me with some really really clutch shots on me. Soon he took me out and vitz as well, leaving eno to hero the finals!!

We did not noticed phear's suicide and we did not know we won for sure until we heard it on stream

I don't think i ever laughed so hard about UT in my life and this was definitely a hilarious cup

Still can't believe that HU with 4 lives to 1 against vitz was so terrified of him he suicided out, not only giving PT's a trip to the finals but eliminating his own team. PT's wouldn't have even MADE the finals without HU's epic display of douchebaggery and pussiness. It was common knowledge before but it's official now, HU is vitz's bitch.

Had a lot of fun in this tournament, honestly didn't even expect to make it out of round 1 with the bounty on our heads. Getting to the finals and then depriving teaming assholes of the bounty was pleasurable . Highlights of my tournament include the hero rambo of healpod top against silverware, showing team ||sT|| what fear really is, the crazy nailbiter on Thursday, and cy and I killing each other despite telling each other where we were all tournament. Shoutout to PACO for arbitrarily and randomly changing finals scoring without bothering to tell the finals participants, and for eliminating hiding spots in halls of redemption without telling anybody. Shoutout to JYB for being JYB, the PT's for breaking 3 consecutive alliances, and the tinkers for being the only one to keep one. Lots of drama, lots of fun, looking forward to the next one.

Well this was a night full of surprises for both me and my team! As some might know, i'm currently not at home and therefore i don't have any of my "UT equipment" with me. I had only my old laptop, an old mouse, and a new headset o got for Christmas (no monitor, no keyboard, no mouse pad). With that said i wasn't even expecting to play. In fact none of Astraportugal's members really wanted to play the tournament at all.

However i am glad we did. This i will risk saying that this was by far the most hilarious tournament EVER in the history of Unreal Tournament! The alliances/betrayals were really an interesting twist in the game dynamics!

How it all started:
By the time we formed the team Morpheus PMed both me and vitrae at the same time. I complained about not being at home, Morpheus complained about having an exam in the morning after the tournament. Despite the complaints we both gave in and took the opportunity to trash talk vitrae on his back:
<enochian> vitrae is going to cry 1 liter before agreeing
<enochian> "omg my frame drops"
At the same time vitrae replied to Morpheus:
<vitrae> i dont know man
<vitrae> framedrops
A lot of PT LOOOOL's immediately followed the conversation. We were far from knowing these were just the start of it.

From there onwards i have to say that we couldn't stop laughing on every single map.
Morpheus already described most of it on his post:

some extra Hilights:
-clog'PewPew hidding inside a water barrel for almost 5 minutes. I stayed right next to him even though we were enemies. LOL
-Morpheus Crying to Fish on TS when he killed him 5 times in less than a minute. "OMG I HATE U MAAN!"
-Me trowing myself to the lava exactly the same way PACO did. And in the Finals ;X
-Madteta breaking every alliance we had in the first 30 seconds. "Man it's hard to think before shooting!"
-And ofc it's always worth repeating the suicide fest that is now known as "doing a holder"! Haha sorry bro =P


I wish to congratulate all the admins involved on the planning and organization of such BRILLIANT event.
I have to thank all the alliances that kept true despite the rough times and accidental kills. We couldn't have won without you.
And at last i want to thank all the players in SOTF-I for putting your lives in our hands even though all your souls now belong to us!

Overall Conclusion: GREAT SUCCESS! Keep it coming!

For me this actually turned out exactly how it was billed, it was just a lot of fun. I wish I'd recorded our TS channels during game because there was some hilarious moments.

The alliances were as entertaining as predicted, especially in the semi-finals and final.


HallsofRedemption: PACO talks up how he's the King of Halls of Redemption (Is there anything the King isn't King of?). Bleh goes psycho and drops 30 frags or something ridiculous. PACO teamkills, jumps in lava and then gets rusty'd. Humpty hides in tower on his own and trash talks PACO for entire game.

Liandri: PACO spamming my pm in the server, pleading that we should suicide our 24 lives so we didn't knock the dictator out. I didn't even realise that blue had been both hiding in greens camp for most of the map until I watched the stream later. Also includes an epic PACO miss on bleh that grins caught on @ 6:10 and led to quote of the tourney "The king is jittery, he's got stir fry in his veins".


Had a couple of pretty close rounds with eventual finalists Ascension, no backstabbing fun though.


Drawn in rummy's heat. Rummy declares all out invasion of Portugal on map 1. After Portugal gets invaded (Morpheus still taking down 18 frags 3v9, fair play) we eventually take down holder's team followed by rummy's team for the win.
Here's where KGB goes all Petyr Baelish on us.
Rummy joins our ts channel "Yo They're betraying and teaming up against you"
"How do you know?"
"They've all moved in to the same ts channel"
"rofls."
"Hold up I'm moving my team in here"

These events meant that I was on TS for the epic white choc vs vitz rafter moment. "WHITE CHOC ONE JUMPING UP BEHIND YOU LOOK OUT". white choc dies. "GOD DAMN HE WAS BEHIND ME?" White choc starts melting down on ts but just about holds himself together. Rummy's team gets eliminated in 3rd on this map meaning we're qualified for final for sure.

A LANNISTER ALWAYS PAYS HIS DEBTS MOMENT: KGB and Portugal's alliance was hilarious mainly due to the fact that they teamed up despite not both being able to qualify, regardless of elimination order for choc and Plantation. They make you do Maths at school for a reason kids. Despite PACO me and numerous other people in the server telling them this, holder was undeterred. After letting vitz (with just 1 life left) hunt down the final choc member, holder decided to suicide his house out of the tournament rather than betraying house Portugal.


Bleh decided to go all Varys at this point, starting setting up allegiances left right and centre. I think the final conclusions of this were "We're teaming up with ph34r", "I told Vitz we're teaming up with them but we're not" (ph34r on pts: "THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED" proved to be 100% accurate). Winning first map is actually a real false dawn in this format. Always going to get 9v3'd in that situation, and it turned out to be 9v1 as bleh spectacularly destroyed anything that moved, briefly. Our only chance of victory after we went out was ph34rs team winning. It was pretty even lives wise when we went out, and after about 30 seconds Vanguard lost about 12 lives, kyle's betrayal explains all.

We didn't have much to do on Tempest other than discuss the merits of betraying kyle towards the end.

Player of the tournament must be Mike (bleh). played amazingly for the whole tourney and nearly won it for us single handedly despite Mr. Duel Specialist being awful at Deck. Twice.

Special shout out for the youtube user who uploaded a video of those secret rooms on Halls of Redemption, otherwise Humpty would still be sat in that tower right now. And to grins, for the hats and the casting. Mostly the hats.
